Not even the death of Gilliam's lead star could make him quit (although he wanted to at first). Let us take a look at The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus which is a film that Gilliam considers a kind of compendium of sorts in relation to his work. But I just consider it a good story and works much better that I felt it did the first time around when I saw it in theaters. That happens a lot with Terry's movies.....
